What will the finished logo package contain?
The completed logo package will contain:
1. The completed logo in SVG, PDF, PNG, and JPG file formats for digital (RGB) use and PDF and EPS file formats for print (CMYK) use.
2. A PDF logo brand guidelines booklet containing information about the logo spacing, colors and typeface, plus mockups of the logo in use.
I also typically include a square 512x512 PNG logo icon for usage as a website/app icon if applicable to the project.
What turnaround time can I expect?
While each logo design project is unique and can have very different timeframes based on complexity of the project and my/your availability, you can generally expect the logo design process to last between 2-12 weeks for a normal logo. When you submit a brief I will give you an estimate for your specific project.
How does the process work?
When you submit a brief, I will look over your requirements and let you know whether I can help you with your project. If we're a good fit, I will give you a cost and time estimate for your specific logo design project.
Once we've decided to move forward, I'll send you an invoice for the first 50% of the logo design cost.
I'll then begin working out logo concepts and get back to you for approval.
Once the concepts are approved, I'll design a number of logo choices (usually three) for you to choose between. Up to two rounds of revisions to the logo are available to refine the design.
Once you approve the final design, I'll send you an invoice for the other 50% of the logo cost, the logo design package with the PDF logo brand guidelines booklet, and the logo in professional file formats ready for print and digital use.
This can vary depending on the complexity of the project and how deeply you wish to be involved throughout process.
Do you use AI in your logo design process?
No, I don't use AI in my process. This is by choice.
When you hire me for my design service, you are getting a logo design coming from my creative and professional expertise. The original ideas that I come up with are based on my unique life and work experiences and style. I always put my heart into what I do and the logo I create will be a reflection of that.
I also deliver the logo in multiple professional formats ready for both print and digital use.
