Velocity Lapse • Mobile app design and development
Velocity Lapse is an Android app for creating time-lapse videos, designed and developed by me as a side/passion project.
The initial design and development of the app began in the summer of 2022. It later became available as an early-access beta on Google Play, gaining over 22K users and a nomination for the Hackernoon Startup of the Year 2023. Velocity Lapse was released to the general public in late 2024.
It is published on the Google Play Store with over 300K downloads and thousands of active users across the globe. The app has been featured in publications such as MakeUseOf and Techviral.
